A Message For You All...
By Anne Klimpke
Coming together, being apart and attempting to return to a place where we found peace, both outside and within, have all encompassed a journey known to us as exchange. We travel far in order to question what we think we know. We soon learnt that changes in location do not alter or change the battles we must fight to know and improve ourselves. If not fought here and now those same battles confront us where ever we may be. Those things that cause us despair breed avoidance, but dealing with them promises opportunity. Being truly honest grants us the deepest satisfaction, because with honesty and acceptance comes understanding.

Quotable Quotes
"I received a Christmas card from my first host family back in January and my mom told me one of my brothers was in Atlanta. A brother I hadn't seen since 1985 when he was 7 and I was 17. Well, I was in Atlanta for business on Tuesday of this week and was able to meet up with him! It was incredible!!! We talked about family and the things I remembered of my time abroad and also what he remembered of me. Then last night, his parents, my first host parents, called to wish me a Happy Birthday! The incredible feeling you get when you think about that experience never goes away, and the relationships you've built may not always be apparent as the years go by, but they are a part of your life forever!!!"Stacie Metelski
